The James Dyson Award is the pinnacle of design innovation. In addition to helping inspire the next generation of design engineers, this award brings together a community of problem solvers tackling some of the most pressing issues in today’s society. Prathamesh Prabhudesai, a graduate of Georgia Tech, is the co-founder of safeBVM which was a US runner-up and top 20 international finalist for this year’s James Dyson Award. safeBVM’s founders developed an inexpensive and user-friendly safety accessory to help address poor manual ventilation in the current Bag Valve Mask (BVM).
Join Startup Exchange on February 24 from 5:00 to 6:00 PM EST (virtually on the video platform Zoom) to learn more about the James Dyson Award and Dr. Prabhudesai’s experiences co-founding safeBVM. Representatives from the Dyson Foundation and Dyson engineers will also be on the panel bringing you insights on Dyson’s design and innovation process. Following the presentation, there will be a Q&A session for the audience to interact with and pose questions to Dr. Prabhudesai and the Dyson representatives. Invitations to those who RSVP will be sent the day of the event. We look forward to seeing you at the event!
